Learning how to play poker is a great way to spend some time. Why not learn how to play this famous game? It’s easy to learn and you can make big money.
In the game of poker, players are dealt with many cards in their hand. They place blind bets or simply blinds over their cards. In Dewapoker, players who have a better hand, than others, win the pot money.
Any player, at any time, can place a bet or raise the sum of money, by asking the dealer for a raise. Usually, the minimum raise is two or three times the amount of the big blind. The dealer will then deal the flop, the first three cards given to the player which is face up.
After the flop, the player can discard some of the cards in his hand and deal from the discard pile. Players keep their hands in a face down heap. They then move around the table and each player has the chance to discard. This is the beginning of the discard pile. The dealer will deal the fourth card, or the turn, facing up. The player then again discards some cards and the dealer will deal the last card, or the river.
When the player discards the first card, he is then dealt with the first card again. The cards are laid out in the following fashion: the face down cards, the face up cards, and the last card or the river.
When the player is allowed to draw cards, he will be dealt with a face up card, which is also the first up card in his new hand. As long as the player remains in his hand (being dealt face up), he has a chance to get a new card and improve his hand. When the player has his hand, a new card is laid down face up. The player then uses his two cards, together with the three cards in the middle, to form his final hand.
As soon as a player receives his first two cards, a cut-off is made on the cards, because the player needs to discard one of the cards in his hand prior to being dealt a third card. Once the player receives his third card, a second round of betting commences. During the second round of betting, a player is only able to raise amounts equal to the bet or folding. If the player folds, this round is considered as a round of raising.
The first player to act in the third round of betting, has three options:
- Nothing can happen before the player decides to call off his hand, meaning he hasn’t made a bet during this round.
- The player can raise the bet, meaning he can increase the bet amount, previous to the third card being dealt.
- The player can fold, meaning the player will give up his cards.
After the player receives his third card in the third round of betting, a fourth card will be dealt. This fourth card is also called as the forth card.
Then a new round of betting will occur. This will repeat the same process of raising the bet and announcing hands until the pot is won.
All the while, the dealer is obligated to draw cards as well. In the fourth draw, the dealer will deal the fifth card face up. After the fifth card is dealt, a new round of betting will occur.
As soon as the player receives his sixth card in the fourth draw, another round of betting will occur.
Once the dealer draws the seventh card face up, a final round of betting will occur.
Once the seventh card is dealt face up, a final round of betting will occur.
Finally, the dealer will examine all the cards and the newly drawn card to determine the winner of the hand.
